Orissa in Dobbs Ferry
After a bit of shopping at The Westchester, we headed for Dobbs Ferry for dinner. Though Orissa wasn't on a radar at first, after glancing at some good reviews we decided to try it. It is a contemporary Indian restaurant that offered non-typical Indian menu. Our appetizer, the steamed calamari was infused with a lot of flavor. I ordered gobi matar (califlower and green peas mix) which was cooked differently from the North Indian fare I'm used to. I raelly liked the lightness of the gravy and it tasted even better as left overs. For dessert we has coconut flan which completed a very satisfying meal.
